AUSTIN, Texas (April 23, 2012)--- Today, Cheer Channel Inc. (CCI), announced more cast members of the first original branded Web series for cheerleaders, “Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader”.

“Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader” is a story of a high school all-star cheerleader, Emma, who moves to a new town and struggles to be accepted in a new school environment together with a becoming part what was once her teams rival squad, The Silver Extreme. Will her secret threaten her chances of competing in Nationals and a newly developed romance with the gym owner’s son?

Jonathan Dane plays the role of Coach Dan, the coach of Emma’s new cheerleading squad, The Silver Extremes. Dane, a Chicago native, was involved in many arts and sports including gymnastics growing up. While attending the University of Illinois for a degree in Kinesiology, he was a collegiate cheerleader. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Dane trained and performed at Second City- Chicago. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career and has since co-starred in many hit television shows including “Shameless”, “Torchwood”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Entourage”, “Young and the Restless”, “Katrina”, and “For Better or for Worse”.

John Grady has been cast as Wes, Emma’s widowed father. Grady made his off-Broadway debut with the famous act of Blue Man Group. He is well-known for his award-winning storytelling and his comedy acts with Fred Armisen. Additionally, he has starred in many films including “I Am Legend” and “Doga”. On television, Grady has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “Sex and the City”, “Rizzoli & Isles” and “One Life to Live”.

Noah Swindle plays the role of Sam, Emma’s 12-year-old little brother. Swindle has appeared on “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “NFL Game Day”, as well as on commercials for AT&T, Disney Park & Resorts and Wisk Detergent. Additionally, Noah has appeared in four short films.
