What is my greatest accomplishment in cheerleading? It's a tough question to answer because every experience and opportunity I have had in cheerleading has been a stepping stone to achieving all of my goals and success. I would say being myself and comfortable in my own skin is my biggest accomplishment not only in the sport, but in life. To know who I am and to be proud of how far I've come despite the adversity I faced for many years growing up has been such a blessing. I don't know where I would be right this minute of this very day if it weren't for cheerleading.

Before I was introduced to cheerleading, I didn't know who I was, what I was passionate about, and what I wanted out of life for myself. Dazed and confused...the life of a struggling artist. But, I always had a vision of being on a stage and entertaining people. When I was younger, I would even imagine myself competing as an Olympic athlete set to win a gold medal coveted by all. I grew up wanting to be destined for great things. I knew I had the talent, but didn't know how to apply my talents to everyday challenges. Cheerleading gave me something to be passionate about...a vision to fulfill and a reason to be great. I didn't just have a chance at life, though. I had a chance to be the creator of my own destiny. I feel so lucky to have the friends I do in this industry and to also know exactly who I am and what I am capable of achieving as an athlete and performer.

Cheerleading has allowed me to work with so many amazing athletes, creative minds, and talented coaches. I've learned numerous values which has motivated me to achieve anything I believe to be possible. My dream is to be successful and inspire young athletes to believe in themselves despite the challenges they will face in the sport and in life. I can't imagine my life with out cheerleading because it has allowed me to live my dream. The sport has made so many of my dreams in to realities and my journey continues. 'Til next time kids...
