2013 Cheerleading Worlds’ Championships

The International Federation of Cheerleading (IFC) selected Thailand to host the 2013 Cheerleading Worlds’ Championships.

TFC (Thailand Federation of Cheerleading) has given emphasis on the benefits of Cheerleading. It states that it is a sport that fosters harmony in the squad. The TFC is also encouraging Thai youth to participate in this event.

IFC president Setsuo Nakamura stated that Thailand was selected due to its abundant facilities and resources, great for organizing the Championships.

In the past few years, Cheerleading has developed and evolved quickly in Thailand. The Thailand Professional Cheerleading Team is powerful, strong, and has high international acceptance. With its emphasis creativity, the chance of hitting higher scores is promising for the Thailand team. The Asian Cheerleading Championships have been hosted by Thailand several times.

Nakamura also said that the 2013 Cheerleading Worlds’ Championships will be successfully hosted by Thailand. He reported that more than 50 countries will participate in the event.

Furthermore, TFC is excited to support the sport of Cheerleading and does not discriminate/limit at any level.
