The Americup National Dance Championships celebrate their 21st year in early 2012. Taking place from February 24-26 next year at the Minnesota Convention Center Auditorium, what was already one of the country’s premiere dance events now awards more Dance World bids than any other event producer. High school dancers and dance athletes from various skill levels will take place in both small and large competitions, have opportunities to earn dance scholarships and even take part in a semi-formal awards gala and dance! The event will feature many kinds of competition from the Jump, Leap and Kick All Star Events to the Performer of the Year Awards.

The Americup Championships are now led by Dance Xtreme USA and Extreme Events, Inc. Event produce Lisa Saline has over 25 years in cheerleading but her renewed focus on extreme dance means Extreme Events will be presenting many more exciting events like this one in the future.
