Alyssa 'Ace' Loschiavo is a 15 year-old all star cheerleader who has been part of both the Buffalo ENVY (Buffalo, NY) and the Outlaws (Lockport, NY). She is a fun, talented, energetic girl with a great laugh.
 
On May 12, 2011, Alyssa was struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy street in West Seneca, New York - a suburb of Buffalo. After an airlift to the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), doctors diagnosed her with severe head trauma and she was given a 1% chance of survival. Alyssa beat the odds and is fighting her way back to us, though she is still unconscious.
 
October 15th marked another milestone for Alyssa. This is the day she turned 15 years old, and was surrounded by her family and friends at a birthday party held at the hospital. Not only is this Alyssa’s birthday, but her younger sister Gabbie celebrated her 13th birthday on this day as well. Alyssa was set to be released into the care of her family soon after her birthday, but her homecoming was delayed while she receives further treatment. She returned home on Monday of this week.
 
Alyssa's family and friends have set up Facebook pages and a web page as a way to keep fans and loved ones up to date on her progress. Alyssa has received prayers from cheer teams all over the world.
 
Cheer Channel hopes that one day Alyssa will open her eyes and be amazed at how the cheer world has come together for her.
