The recent danger of an NFL lockout almost cost the New England Patriots Cheerleaders their 2011-2012 season. Hundreds of girls from all over the country came to participate in the new season auditions. While charisma and skill were important for these tryouts the girls also had to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. The potential Patriots Cheerleaders were required to learn several routines but were also judged on their dance ability and physical fitness. Most girls exceeded these expectations; the judges and coach had their work cut out for them.
